Power surges! We have so many of them in our area, especially in summer. Personally, I have my televisions plugged into a battery back up so that when we do have surges or what I call Power Flickers, the TV doesn’t go out right in the middle of a movie and has to power cycle back on! Also, all my major appliances are plugged into wall surge protectors.
